Description
Soft toys provide us with comfort when we are frightened or sick. They provide us security when we are falling asleep and bear our wrath when we are angry. When Mabel Dixon (1901-1981) was less than 1 year old, her mother passed away and she went to live with her maternal grandparents in Andrew County, Missouri. She later recalled that when she was frustrated as a child, she would punch her poor Steiff bear in the nose! Her bear remained a treasured companion throughout her life.
Let Mabel’s teddy bear comfort you too with this collectible, bobble-head lapel pin!
