Meet the Experts: Mid-Century Modern Aluminum Christmas Trees

Join The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures to learn more about the aluminum Christmas trees in the Mid-Century Magic: A Tale of Toys and Aluminum Christmas Trees exhibit (on view, November 20, 2023 – January 29, 2024). Stephen and Mary Pruitt, whose tree collection is featured in the exhibit, will share how they got started acquiring these objects 22 years ago and what they have learned about the makers, materials, and consumers of this Mid-Century Modern holiday phenomenon.
