Donors to the Museum’s collection give us much more than their toys. They share their memories of childhood and how those toys how remained special to them. In this gallery, we are highlighting some of the many toy donations received in the last few years.
The Mid-Century Magic exhibit will examine the relatively brief aluminum Christmas tree phenomenon (1959-1965) and toys associated with the wider mid-century period (1950-1969).

Make your own small metallic tree or retro toy inspired by the exhibit, Mid-Century Magic: A Tale of Toys and Aluminum Christmas Trees. This family-friendly workshop is FREE with the price of your museum admission.
Santa will visit the Museum on December 2nd, 1PM – 4PM. He’ll be spending time in the galleries and in the North Pole Makerspace activity throughout the afternoon.
