Miniature Masterworks: Peter Gabel

Peter Gabel creates 1:12 scale botanically correct paper plants and flowers. He works with artist-grade acrylic paints and acid-free paper so his pieces will continue to make a big statement on a small scale for decades to come. Recently, he added seashell work to his repertoire, taking inspiration from nineteenth-century sailor’s valentines and shell floral arrangments under glass domes.

Gabel is one of more than sixty artists participating in Miniature Masterworks, September 15-17, 2017.
