Now on display at The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures in one of the New Acquisitions cases, this fine-scale miniature blouse by Giovanna Guerrero Reyes is one of more than 20 artworks showcasing the remarkable detail achieved by members of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA), the leading organization dedicated to supporting fine-scale miniature artists and their work. The stained-glass shell pattern, originally designed by Barbara Schaeffler, was carefully adapted to fit a miniature mannequin, combining 58 hexagons, pentagons, squares, and triangles.
