Designated spaces are available in the Museum parking lot for visitors with disabilities.

ADA-recognized service animals are welcome in the Museum.
Wheelchairs
The Museum is accessible to guests using wheelchairs as well as visitors who need to avoid stairs. An elevator is available to access the Museum’s second floor.
Wheelchairs are available free of charge in the Coat Room on a first-come, first-served basis.
Story Connections
Story Connections is a free program for adults experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. This program is designed to create a meaningful Museum experience that ignites conversation inspired by the collection and provides community support for its audience.
Museums for All
Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) gain free admission to the Museum simply by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID.

The Drop ARTSKC
The Drop connects residents from areas with limited arts access to some of the best local experiences in an impactful and affordable way. From performances to exhibitions, The Drop discounts tickets to $10, making arts events more accessible to more Kansas Citians.

This social story provides helpful strategies and guidance for those with sensory needs to navigate the Museum’s environment comfortably and confidently. Noise-cancelling headphones and fidgets are available for visitors to check out at the front desk.
