Miniature Masterworks: Natasha Beshenkovsky

Natasha Beshenkovsky began working in fine-scale miniatures after emigrating to the United States from Moscow in 1977. She started out creating decorated furniture, but has since transitioned to sculpture and shadow boxes where she uses distorted perspective and the illusion of depth to create a magic space behind the frame.

Beshenkovsky is one of more than sixty artists participating in Miniature Masterworks, September 15-17, 2017.
